Tutoring Session 3 Dwinetta Rozier

It seems like these are back to back but I just procrastinate and do them all at once :( I know I'm a bad person... Today was my first experience at the English Conversation Club! I met Catherine's conversation partner Seong-Pong and we talked for an hour. I asked him if he wanted to go over a specific area of English and he said he has trouble speaking and listening. So we spent the hour getting to know each other. Good news Catherine, he doesn't hate you!! He even thinks that his new CP is weird and that you are better. He did mention that he likes Steven alot! LOL! He is very interesting and he only has trouble with a few words but he has good control over his English and our conversation went smoothly. I had to correct him a few times. But overall it was a very interesting hour. He relayed a story to me about a cat-sitting experience he had in South Korea. I found it amazing that he is older in South Korea than he is in the US! SK=25 US=23, apparently depending on the month you are born in, you already have years on you. If you were born last month you would be two years old! Amazing right!? I learn something new everyday... He mixed up some of the verb tenses when he spoke, but I politely repeated it with a little intonation, and then he repeated it with the correct version. I look forward to ECC with him next week.
